A Light in Our Community
The Beacon After-School Program is so much more than just a place for elementary-aged children in grades K-4 to spend their afternoons. It’s a safe and nurturing environment where kids are loved, supported, and empowered to grow spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically. Over the past year, we’ve seen incredible growth—not only in the number of children we serve but in the positive impact this program has on their lives.
Every afternoon at Beacon is an opportunity to build up these children in faith and character. Whether it’s through daily devotions, prayer, or simply playing together, we see lives transformed. Kids learn important life skills, like problem-solving, cooperation, and self-care, all while being reminded that they are deeply loved by God and by us. With our program expanding, we need more volunteers to help us continue this life-changing work. If you have a heart for kids and some time to offer, you could make a big difference! Whether it’s helping with homework, leading an activity, or simply being a positive role model, your support is invaluable.
