This past year, the Outreach Fund’s generous $3,000 grant enabled the Youth Bible Study (YBS) to offer an interdenominational program to students from 2nd through 12th grade, free of charge. Meeting weekly at Park Street Brethren Church, YBS provided a space where over 1,700 student interactions occurred across 27 weeks of study. We read through the entire book of Revelation—a journey that began with hesitation but ended in joy, spiritual growth, and deeper faith.
YBS’s mission is to equip the next generation to live Christ-like lives, preparing them for the adventures ahead with hope and truth. The program fosters a community where students engage with Scripture, ask bold questions, and build lasting friendships. One 5th grader reflected on the enduring message that God “was and is and is to come,” while an 8th grader appreciated the fellowship and learning with friends. One of the high school leaders said, “YBS stretched me in ways I didn’t expect… but I saw God at work in our students and in myself every week.”
The Outreach Fund’s support was instrumental in covering all program costs, ensuring that financial barriers did not hinder any student’s participation. This generosity allowed YBS to focus on its core mission: nurturing faith and community among youth. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support of the Outreach Fund.
